Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nasr player, scored two goals against Al-Ittihad – today, Monday – to become the player who scored the most goals in one season in the Saudi Professional Football League, with 35 goals.

The Saudi Professional League Association wrote on the X platform, “Cristiano Ronaldo has scored the most goals in one season in the history of the Saudi Professional League (35 goals).”

With this, Ronaldo broke the previous record recorded by Moroccan Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, the current Al-Ittihad striker, who scored 34 goals in the 2018-2019 season with Al-Nasr jersey.

Al-Nasr said on the X platform, “Al-Nasr captain Cristiano Ronaldo breaks the Saudi League record for the most goals scored in one season. He becomes the first player in the history of football to win the league’s top scorer award in 4 different leagues.”
