The German channel ARD conducted a survey among 1,304 randomly selected people, and it was found that 21% of those who participated in the survey preferred that more white-skinned players play in the ranks of the Germans.
The midfielder responded during press statements in which he said, “This matter does not exist within the team. Anyone who grew up with football knows that this is just talk that has no value.”
He added, “Football unites people of different skin colors and religions, and that is what it is all about. I would miss a lot of players if they were not here. This is completely racist, and it has no place among us on the team.”
Germany midfielder Joshua Kimmich has slammed an “absolutely racist” survey and its findings that one in five of his compatriots would prefer more white players on the national team.

He continued, “When you take into account that we are about to host the European Championship on our soil, it is ridiculous to ask such a question, when in fact the goal is to unite the entire country.”
“It is about achieving great things together,” he concluded. As a team, we are trying to get everyone in Germany behind us.”
The Bayern Munich player was speaking in Herzoggen and Rach, where the German national team is holding a training camp in preparation for the upcoming European Championship, “Euro 2024.”
The German national team will play in Group A in Euro 2024, which also includes the teams of Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland, and the opening match will be held between Germany and Scotland.
