Pep Guardiola, the coach of Manchester City, felt frustrated and seemed angry when his team conceded a stunning goal from Mohamed Quddus, the West Ham striker, during the last match in the English Premier League.

Manchester City wrote its name in the history of English football after becoming the first team to win the league title for the fourth time in a row, by defeating its guest West Ham 3-1 on Sunday in the 38th and final stage, ending the season with a two-point advantage over Arsenal.

After quickly advancing 2-0 within the first 18 minutes of the match, Guardiola’s team seemed on its way to obtaining the English Premier League title for the fourth time.

But their enthusiasm came to a screeching halt before the end of the first half when Godus scored a stunning goal, reducing the score to 2-1.

The Ghanaian midfielder, who had a wonderful debut season in the English Premier League, showed individual skill when he took advantage of a corner kick and sent a back kick into the net in the 42nd minute.

Guardiola’s frustration was evident in his angry reaction to Godos’ stunning goal.

The Sports newspaper reported that Guardiola acknowledged the threat posed by the Ghanaian international and described him as a distinguished player.

Godos, 23, earned recognition by winning the Goal of the Season award after his impressive individual effort against Freiburg during the Europa League Round of 16.
